In a large saucepan, heat up the ghee in low heat.
Add the rava and roast until slightly browned.
Then add the besan and roast (stirring constantly) well until a nice aroma comes out of the besan (around 20 minutes).
Take off the heat and add the coconut, almonds, sugar, cardamom, nutmeg and mix well.
Let it cool slightly, enough to handle with your hands.
Take 2 tbs of the mixture in your hands and shape to make balls. Add a raisin per ball while rolling (we ommited this).
