Bistek Filipino (Beef Steak)
In a frying pan at medium heat bake the onion slices until they become translucent but still keep the shape, remove them from the pan into a separate bowl.
Cook the beef for around 7 minutes (or until well done) in some oil. Drizzle it with lemon juice, add the pepper and the salt.
Then add the soya sauce and allow it to boil for 2 minutes. Pour the cornstarch dissolved in water and wait until it becomes thicker.
Toast a 1/3 of the onions fried earlier and mix for another pair of minutes.
Serve top with the rest of the onions and the bean sprouts.
