Butter a mold (22 cm diameter). Sprinkle it with brown sugar. Drain the cherries.
Whisk the milk, cream, the vanilla extract, the eggs, the sugar, the melted butter and flour until well combined.
Pour the batter in the mold and then place the cherries evenly.
Bake in a previously pre-heated oven at 180°C for 30 to 40 minutes or until golden.
Allow to sit out of the oven for 20 minutes before serving.
