Chicken Stew with Sadza Dumplings



For the Dumplings:


Add the butter to a frying pan and fry the onios, garlic and chilli pepper until the onions are soft.

Add the bell peppers and the chicken, stir well.

Add the tomatoes and 125 ml water. Bring it to a boil and simmerfor 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, bring 750 ml water to a boil. Mix the remaining 500 ml water with the cornmeal to form a batter.

Add this batter to the boiling water stirring constantly. Bring it to a boil.

Allow the mixture to cool slightly and form from it balls with wet hands, place the stew in a serving bowl (we used individual ones) and garnish with the cornmeal balls.
