Cinnamon Rolls with Coconut
For the filling:
In a sauce pan heat up the milk with the butter until the butter is melted (not to let it boil).
Mix in a bowl all the other ingredients and add to it the milk, keep mixing until all the ingredients are well blended.
Let the dough rest for around 30 minutes in a warm dark place.
Roll out the dough in a rectangular shape (around 1 to 2 cm thick).
Spread the dough with butter and then sprinkle it with sugar,grated coconut and cinnamon.
Roll the dough and cut with a knife slices from it, lay them on a baking dish (previously covered with baking paper).
Let them rise for around 30 minutes, cover it with a kitchen towel.
Brush the rolls with the egg (mixed previously) and sprinkle them with sugar.
In an oven previously preheated at 220 degrees celcius bake the rolls for around 8 minutes.
