Colombo De Pork (Martinique)
In a large bowl, season the meat with salt, pepper, garlic, jalapeno and lemon juice.
Let marinate for 30 minutes. In a large pan, sauté the onions in oil for 2 minutes.
Add pork and saute until well browned.
Reserve marinade and vegetables. Add curry powder and allspice.
Stir well. Add cloves, parsley, thyme and broth. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper. Add marinade with vegetables, stir well and cook under low fire until all the vegetables are tender.
Serve with rice.
