Dama be Potaatas




Heat the oil in a wok, add the onions and fry until softened. Add water, cover the pot and cook on medium heat for around 6 minutes (or until the water has evaporated completely).

Lightly purée the onions, return to the wok together with the tomatoes.

In a frying pan heat up some oil and add the potatoes,  fry until golden, set aside.

Add the meat to the wok together with the green pepper, salt, cardamom and cinnamon. Cover and cook for 3 minutes, then add the tomato paste, stir adding water until getting a

smooth sauce.

Add the potatoes, cover and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in the garlic.

Serve with Gorraasa.
