Easter Lamb or Rabbit Cake

Preparation:

In a large bowl stir the butter with the sugar and vanilla sugar until smooth, then slowly add the whole eggs (keeping stirring).

Sift together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder and add it little by little to the egg mixture.

Finally add the pell from the orange and lemon and the rum.

Butter a (the recipe originally calls for a lamb shaped form) rabbit shaped form with butter and then sprinkle it with flour.

Pour the dough in and bake for around 30 minutes or until when priking with a toothpick it comes clean.

Leave the cake cool down in the shape for 5 minutes before removing from the form.

Prepare the coating with one egg white and 100gr of fine sugar (make a meringue)

(You can add some colors for making it looks more real).

Decorate with the candies.
