In a large frying pan, heat up the oil and fry on it the chicken pieces until browned all sides, remove and set aside.
Add the onion, chillies and garlic to the pan and fry until soft, then return the chicken pieces to the pan and add the chorizo.
Fry for around 2 minutes and then add a little water.
In a saucepan mix the beans with water enough to cover them, bring them to a boil.
Add the tomatoes, carrots, cabbage and bay leaves to it.
Bring the mix to a boil, then reduce the fire and simmer for around 30 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
Stir in the meat mixture and the parsley.
Adjust the seasoning, serve with rice.
