Guatemalan Hot Chocolate Bread

Warm up the milk with the sugar and then add the vanilla to it.

In a bowl sift together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and the yeast.

Then add to this the milk mixture, coffee extract and the eggs.

Once this becomes an uniform dough add the butter to it and follow kneading until blended.

Place the dough in an oiled medium bowl and cover it with kitchen foil, let it rise for 2 hours.

After that time remove the dough from the bowl and flatten it with your hands to release the excess air bubbles.

Form a loaf and lay it on a baking dish (previously covered with baking paper), cover the loaf with kitchen foil and let it rise for 1 hour.

Bake the loaf in a previously preheated oven at 180°C for 1 hour.

The finished loaf will be deep brown and sound hollow when tapped on the bottom.
