Halabi Kebab

                                                                                                

  1. Green chilli peppers (finely chopped), 500 gr
  2. Parsley (finely chopped), 1 cup
  3. Coriander (finely chopped), 1 cup
  4. Fresh minced garlic, 1 1/2 tbs
  5. Pepper, 1 tsp
  6. Salt, 1 tsp
  7. Ground cumin, 1 tsp
  8. Olive oil, 1/4 cup

Preparation:

Combine in a bowl the ground beef with the flour, oil, salt, pepper and zhoug. Form the meat mixture into a 26 cm loaf. Make a well the entire lenght of the loaf.

Heat 3 tbs of oil in a alrge skillet. Sauté together the onions, mushrooms and parsley until the onions are translucent. Place the mixture in the well of the loaf.

Lightly beat the eggs and pour over the vegetables.

Pre-heat the oven at 180°C. Pat the sides of the loaf together to close up the well, wrap in aluminium foil. Bake for 30 minutes.

The loaf can be served either hot or cold.
