In a large bowl, mix all the batter ingredients until smooth. Cover and allow the batter to rest for at least 30 minutes.
Then add the chicken to the batter tossing to coat.
Heat up the deep fryer and fry the chicken for 2 minutes or until becomes golden brown. drain on paper towels.
In a wok, heat up the oil for the sauce. Add the garlic and ginger and stir fry for 30 seconds.
Add the salt, honey, vinegar and water. Mix well.
Combine the water and the cornstarch. Add to the sauce and simmer until the sauce becomes thick.
Coat the chicken with the sauce and garnish with the sesame seeds. Serve with rice.
