Ingredients:

Preparation:

In a sauce pan place together the water with the teaspoon of sugar, the butter and the milk. Heat up until the butter is melted ( don't let it boil).

In a bowl sift together the flour, sugar, salt, cardamom and the yeast. Add to it the egg and then slowly the milk mixture, knead until getting an homogeneous dough.

Add to it the fruits, cherries, raisins and the almonds, knead until well blended.

Place in a bowl and cover with kitchen foil and let it rise for 2 hours.

After that time divide the dough in 2 pieces and form the loaf in your favorite shape.

Place the loaf on a baking dish and let it rise for 1 hour.

Bake it in a previously pre-heated oven at 180°C for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
