Heat up the oil in a wok and then add the chicken pieces, ginger paste and the garlic.
Cook the chicken until golden brown.
Add the chopped tomatoes, green chilies, salt, chili powder, turmeric, garam masala powder and the black pepper, mix it well.
Turn the heat down, cover the pot and let it cook for about 20 minutes (stirring occasionally).
After that remove the lit and increase the heat and let the liquid dry a little up, for around 5 minutes.
Once the chicken is done and the sauce is on the wished consistency turn of the stove and garnish with cilantro.
