Kesar Nankhatai




Sieve the flour and the semolina with a fine sieve.

Cream the butter with the sugar until light and creamy.

Add the cardamom and nutmeg and cream again.

Warm the saffron and dissolve in the milk.

Add the curds, baking soda and saffron, mix well.

Add the flour and semolina and knead well. Form into small balls (walnut size), flatten them a little.

Arrange on a lined baking tray and bake in a previously pre-heated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes.
