Kjufteta Po Cirpanski




In a large bowl, mix the meat, breadcrumbs, egg, salt and pepper together. Form into walnut size balls.

Sauté the balls in a large frying pan with 2 tbs olive oil, until browned all sides.

Add the potatoes and sauté for 10 minutes.

In another frying pan, sauté the onions with the other 2 tbs olive oil for 10 minutes. Add the carrots, celeriac and flour. Sauté for 10 minutes, add the hot water, salt, pepper, bay

leaf and jalapeños.

Simmer for 15 minutes. Pour this sauce over the meatballs and potatoes mixture, simmer for 15 minutes and serve directly.
