Kyrgyz Baked beef




Heat up the oil in a wok, fry the onion and green pepper until the onion is translucent.

Add the steak and stir fry until browned all sides.

Pour off any excess of fat and stir in the apple, apricots, raisins, prunes, curry powder, salt and black pepper. Stir to mix.

In a separate bowl mix together the eggs with the yoghurt.

Add this to the wok and mix well.

Transfer it to a baking dish (we used individual ones) and bake (on a previously pre-heated oven at 180°C for around 45 minutes or until the contents of

the pan have been cooked through and set.

Serve hot with rice.
