In a large skillet, heat up the oil and fry the beef or mutton for about 5 minutes under moderate fire.

Add the garlic and onions, stir well. Fry for 3 minutes more.

Add the potatos, stir well and fry for 3 minutes more.

Add the carrots, stir well and fry for 3 minutes more.

Add the cabbage, stir well and fry for another 3 minutes.

Stir in the tomatoes, stir well. Season with salt and cover tightly. Cook covered for 30 minutes under low fire.

After that time open, check seasoning, mix it well and serve.
