Mix in a large bowl all the ingredients except the cabbage, carrots and the couscous with raisins.
Allow the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for a few hours or overnight.
Remove the chicken from the marinade but save the marinade.
In a large wok, heat up the oil and fry the chicken pieces until browned all sides.
While the chicken is cooking sauté the onions in a large frying pan for a few minutes, add the rest of the marinade and the vegetables, bring it to a boil
and cook for around 10 minutes or until the
vegetables are tender.
Reduce the heat and add the chicken to the sauce, cover and simmer until the chicken is tender.
Serve with couscous with raisins (prepare the couscous following the instructions on the packing and mix some raisins in the couscous before cooking).
