Pumpkins of Pumpkin Bread




Bake the pumpkin in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes. Let it cool, peel and cut in pieces, blend until creamy.

Dissolve the yeast in the milk with one teaspoon of sugar. 

Add the flour, pumpkin, butter and  the remaining sugar and mix, add the salt and Knead  for 10 minutes or until smooth. 

Form a ball and place  in a bowl, cover with a plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place until doubled in volume (around 2h).

Deflate the dough and cut it into 13 equal pieces.

With 12 pieces form  round balls and with the remaining piece form the sticks for the stems. 

Push your finger into the centre of the balls to make a hole and place the stem in the hole.

Place the pumpkin bread onto the baking sheet.  

Cover and let rise for 30 minutes. 

Cut the rolls with a razor blade and bake in a  pre-heated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes.
