Preparation:

In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients, except the flour and oil. Mix well with the hands to combine.

Cover the bowl and set aside for at least 1 hour to allow the ingredients to

infuse.

After this time, take about 1 tbs of the mixture at the time and shape it into a small cylinder or sausage.

Repeat the procedure with the rest of the mixture.

Heat oil in a pan, roll the qofte in the flour to coat them, fry for about 6 minutes, turning to brown all sides.

Traditionally they're served with fried potatoes, rice, lemon wedges and green salad.
