Russian Apple Cake Sharlotka
Preheat the oven to 180 °C and grease a 23 by 33 cm baking pan. Set aside.
Beat the eggs and sugar until light yellow and about triple its size.
Add the vanilla and the flour, little by little, until fully incorporated.
Quickly mix the baking soda and vinegar and add it to the batter. Mix it gently.
Arrange the chopped apples on the baking pan. Pour the batter over the apples.
Bake for around 1 hour or until golden brown and cooked through.
