Saloonah Laham

                                                                                             

Ingredients:

Preparation:

In a large saucepan, bring about 7 cups of water to a boil. Add the meat, in a few minutes, skim off the foam that collects on the top of the water with a spoon.

Add the mashed garlic and turmeric powder.

Cover and boil for a few hours or until the meat starts to get tender.

Add the onions, tomato, vegetables and the rest of the ingredients. Boil until the meat and the vegetables are very tender. Add water if needed.

Serve the Saloonah with white rice.
