Sate Babi & Sate Ayam
For the marinate:
For basting during the grilling:
For the sauce:
Place all the marinade ingredients in a bowl, add the chicken, stir well and let it marinate covered in the fridge overnight.
The next day place the meat in the skewers (we alternate it with pineapple cubes).
Place the skewers on a lined baking sheet on a previously pre-heated oven at 200°C until done. (we used a grilling pan).
Before grilling squeeze a little lemon juice over the skewers.
While grilling, baste the skewer with the skewers with the basting mix (mix in a small bowl all the ingredients).
For the sauce, place all the ingredients in a food proccesor and process until well blended.
To serve, place the peanut sauce on a plate, add a dash of fish sauce, drizzle generously with kecap manis and squeeze juice of a lime.
