Scotch Eggs

                                                                                             

Ingredients:

Preparation:

Hard boil the eggs by placing in a pan of cold water and heating slowly until it starts to boil. Cook for 30 minutes, drain and let cool down before peeling.

Peel the hard cooked eggs and set aside. Divide the sausage meat into 6 portions.

Roll each egg in flour and with the hands press a portion of the sausage around each egg.

Dip the sausage wrapped eggs into the beaten eggs and then roll them into the bread crumbs.

Heat the vegetable oil (we used the deep fryer and fry each egg for around 5 minutes or until the sausage is cooked and browned.

Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
