Remove the skin from the onions and cut them in fine slices.
Heat-up the oil in a fry-pan and fry the onions on low fire, around 15 min.

Wash the potatoes, remove the skin and cut them in thick sticks, add salt and fry them in oil until they're golden-brown.
Fry the steaks with a little of oil until they're both sides golden-brown.
