Twisted Easter Egg Bread Rings

Preparation:

In a sauce pan combine milk, water,sugar,butter,salt and pell from the lemon and the orange.Heat it up until the butter is melted (don't let it boil)

In a bowl mix the eggs with the flour. Mix until well blended.

Little by little incorporate the milk mixture, mix until getting a dough easy to handle.

Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a bowl, cover it with kitchen foil and let it rise in a warm place for 2 hours.

After this time punch down the dough.Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and divide the dough into 4 equal parts.

Roll out each part until getting a rectangle around 1/2 cm thick and spray nutella on top leaving a border around of 1/2 cm.

Roll the rectangles and form ropes.Shape 2 ropes on a prepared baking shett into a loose twisted ring.Cover and let it rise for 1 hour.

Brush the rings with the topping and bake them in a previously pre-heated oven at 180°C for 25 min or until lightly browned.

Remove from the oven and cool on a wire rack.Frost with the Icing.
