Verza cu Brinza




Blanch the cabbage in boiling water for 2 minutes.Drain off and pat dry with a linen kitchen towel.

Heat the butter together with the oil in a large frying pan (we used a wok) over medium heat.Add the cabbage and sauté stirring and tossing frequently, until the cabbage is browned. (around 15 minutes).

Cool down the cabbage until it's easy to handle.

In a bowl, whisk together the sour cream and the eggs. Mix it with the cabbage.

Add dill and season with salt and pepper.

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish (we used indiviual casserole)

Combine the feta with the bread crumbs.Sprinkle the mixture over the cabbage.

Sprinkle with paprika and pour the melted butter on top.

Bake on a previously pre-heated oven at 180 °C for 15 minutes.
